Films on Demand videos can be shared with other NDSCS students, faculty and staff on and off campus. To share a video it is important to use the Record URL that appears below the video's title. Do not use the URL that appears in your browser's address bar, this is a temporary link and might not work again. When sharing a video with a class, it is also advisable to provide the class with the video title and any other identifying details that might be helpful in case the shared link does not work.
To share a segment, click on a segment title on the right side of the screen. This will bring up the segment's video and the Record URL will update to correspond to the segment instead of the entire video.
Under the video, click the Share button to grab an embed code to place a video into a website. The Share button also includes an Email option to email a video to an NDSCS student, faculty or staff.
In Blackboard, select the area where you want the URL to be posted and click the dropdown arrow beside Build Content and under Create select Weblink.
Note: In the Web Link Options section of the video you can choose to have the video open in a new window or not.
